This stage 2 kit?............Predator 212cc - Honda GX200 Stage 2 Kit (ombwarehouse.com)
Did you follow their tutorial?.............Stage 2 kit installation - YouTube
Did you see their timing key tutorial?.............Flywheel Removal and Advanced Timing Key Install on a Predator 212cc - YouTube............
........................Fast forward it to the 3:30 mark to see his drawing of the correct way to position the offset timing key.
Does it run at all?...........or runs, but just won't keep on running at idle speed?

Put the original key back in and see if it runs okay, performance ignition timing is set around 34degrees before Top dead centre, this allows time for the flame propagation to reach full expansion at the desired position in the stroke cycle. Standard engines out of the box will be 26-28 degrees BTDC, they only rev to 3800 and are built to make the users life as easy as possible, i.e. starting, running, temperature of components etc... The timing keys are produced to advance the ignition timing so your flywheel magnet will meet the coil sooner in a clockwise rotation. Have you put the carb gaskets the right way round, I think this can block a pilot hole.

The OP hasn’t been back since this post. I doubt he cares what we have to say anyways. It’s been a year.
