Get a Corvette. Nice car, but a 16 year old kid probably couldn't earn enough money in a year to pay for auto insurance for a month. Denny, have you ever purchased auto insurance for a teenager. Much less a male teenager. $$$$$

Bet it's gone up a little since then, even for a Camaro. ( I spelled it right this time).
And the make, or style of vehicle, along with the horsepower rating have a direct impact on the price of insurance, as I'm sure you found out. A 16 year old and a Corvette, his parents probably couldn't even afford the insurance premium.
