Predator 212, New Carb runs 30 feet and dies

My son's cart has a predator 212. I recently put a new carb on it. It will start and idle just fine, but if he pushes the throttle to go, it will go about 30-40 feet and die. It will start back immediately and do it again. It seems like it's using the fuel out of the bowl and not refilling. I'm not very experienced on small engines and their carbs...
I'm sure this is something simple, if someone can point me in the right direction of how to fix it.

take the bowl off and see if the needle is dropping as far as it should and letting a steady stream out DONT LOSE THE NEEDLE and if you drop it make sure its cleaned well, on spec of sand and you clog a jet

Restricted fuel filter, kinked fuel line, float not dropping all the way, unvented fuel tank, restricted internal fuel tank strainer screen at outlet, more?

The carb gasket is most likely backwards blocking off the bowl vent.
There a small hole in the gasket that has to be lined up.

Yep could be lots of things, but to help narrow it down, why'd ya change the carb in the first place?
