This is what I did...
Grind out any nonflowing angles from header inlet... this helps w/ any whistling sounds... and 'somewhat' improves exhaust flow(exhaust outlet off head is "D" shaped... header inlet grinding should imitate the airflow)...
Cut off stock muffler/muffler mount, from header mount, leave alil 'nub' of pipe... 2 x 90* elbows(elbows diameter slides
over pipe 'nub') welded together at desired angle... (depending on muffler diameter/inlet) proper threaded nut welded to pipe end(
NOT galvanized!!!)... factory replacement briggs muffler w/ a exhaust pipe that slid over it snugly (cut/welded)... One of Firemanjim's intakes... and a .035 jet...
How it sounds (may wanna listen to this on a
good set of speakers... something that registers bass)...

Sometime after the video... I added a 1/2" thick aluminum disk, w/ a hole bored out of it the same diameter as the pipe to the inside end of the muffler sleeve...(attachment)... this created the same 'tone' just alot less resonating(lot less reverb at a distance... quiter

).
