How do you take off the studs in the head that holds the rod guide plate? or have yall just been buying new bolts on every build?

Stock springs are easy. I just put the valves in place, put the chamber side of the head against my knee and press with my thumbs. For 26lb springs, this is a little tough but doable. For heavier springs, I fabricated a spring compressor using 6" C clamp from harbor freight with a 1/2" threaded conduit connector and a 1/2" washer.
