Just put the new motor on and broke it in like it was instructed to and the motor will just start to blow white smoke bad out of the muffler. I checked everything oil is fine and have no leaks anywhere. Think this could just be a bad motor?

Go cards! (I lived there in a past "life")..... It really sounds like a lemon, IF you you are sure your oil mark is right. How much did you put in?
O and :welcome2:

Personally, I would use this opportunity to take advantage of your warrantee rights. Assuming you did not overfill the oil, and assuming it is the correct type, and assuming the fuel is fresh, this IS a defect.

He came to a forum because he wanted to fix it himself. This is DIY Go karts after all. I assume taking it back isn't an option or is a last option.

It is more than likely a bad carb. Fuel is collecting inside the combustion chamber when the engine is off. More than likely from your carb having a bad float or pin. When you go to turn it On it smokes white until the fuel residue burns off from inside the muffler and side walls of the combustion chamber. This can also happen if you valves are too tight.

To check for that,
Remove the sparkplug, spin crank until piston Is top dead center, Look inside the spark plug hole and inspect it for excessive fuel. Do this before you first go to start it.

Let me try to get a better handle on things, here-

Is the engine brand new? Under warranty? Returnable?

I have had many warranty claims over the years. Stuff I diagnosed quickly, and could fix with relative ease, but why? I am a firm believer in the warranty system. You paid for new and perfect, and you are entitled to it. I'd return it, if it's an option. For all you know, this engine has a defect, was returned by someone else, and fell thru the cracks and got re-sold. Who knows what further problems lurk ahead?

Take it back!!!!
@drift or die..... This IS a diy community, but on a 4 day old engine, under warranty, you take it back before something else happens. And THAT usually happens AFTER the warranty is up........

I'll second that. You paid for new and perfect, it clearly isn't. You deserve new and perfect.

To put this into perspective- you just bought a brand new, $50,000 truck. 4 days later, it's smoking. You gonna mess around trying to fix it? Oh heck no!

A person who works a returns desk and deals with these things quite regularly once told me: "It's chinese. Quality control is hit-and-miss. You either get a good one, or you get a bad one. It will either work well for a very long time, or be garbage from the get-go. Don't mess around and wait, return it if it's bad. We are all aware of it, and prepared for it:.

If it was too much gas it would blow black/ gray smoke. Since it is blowing white smoke, that means it is burning oil. So either he accidentally put 2 stroke fuel in, or oil is getting past the rings or valve stem seals.

Lol thanks guys was just wanting to check 1st incase i forgot to do something but did everything i needed

We had a similar (white-smoke) thread a few years back, that guys problem ended up being caused by him storing his kart in a vertical position... You haven't been doing that, have you?

I buy returned Predators by the pallet. I get a few of these. Cracked block or blown head gasket or bad carb float. Return it and ask for 1quart of oil and rereimburse 1gallon of fuel. And ask them to test the new one before you walk out. I'll eventually end up buying your returned engine :p

Is there some kind of auction for returned goods?
