So I got this little animal free from a coworker. It features a 6v power wheels electrical system. A little Facebook research led me to find out while special it’s not necessary rare. The frame and body were special and power wheels supplied the motor system. Now given I saw pictures of some online that are pristine, this isn’t, I’m less inclined to try to restore and sell than make something unique out of it.

I thought I’d start with a going’s through, make sure nothing is broken or cracked, lubricate the joints and go through the wheels and tires. If I can put a new battery on and get it going I’ll keep it as that way for the time being for the kids. If not, I may look into a small weed eater sized engine or perhaps the 79cc predator for this, but that would require adding brakes and cutting the body most likely.

So we’ll see, either way it’s too cool to let go in the dumpster!

I think the one of the little Honda GX35 type 4 cycle motors would be cute on something like that.
Beefy clutch, smooth and quiet, much more torque than the typical trimmers. Or a motorized bike.

Anyway cool toy!
