Thats kinda how I was with this.I would! But, I'd be the first one to ice my hands when I got home. I'd play it off real cool after I shot it. "That wasn't bad". Shaking my hand like crazy when know one is looking.

This thread got me interested and I started looking for like home made examples from other countries to see what crazy and wild things were posted to the internet.
I do not own and I am in no way connected to or a part of this Facebook group. I was just blown away by some of the examples posted there.
Some examples are from periods were everything was clean sheet metal stamped and looked like art. Some look like the example below and range from the example below to a pipe with a spring and a wrench.

Why retire the Sig P365?

Retiring only for a few reasons. Mine was the SAS version(Sig Anti Snag). It was a great concept, but the sights were not. The concept was to take a standard P365 compact but make everything flush, including the top sights. The sights were pretty accurate but relied on plenty of light to see them. They were supposed to work in low light conditions and they didn't. I added a Streamlight laser/flashlight combo to it and it was no longer comfortable to carry appendix wise.
It shoots accurate, very accurate, and it was a ported barrel. Super loud, but even more accurate then a standard P365.

Not sure how I feel about that
Got a really good deal on it in Jan 2020. Sight works, accurate, but not for me for an EDC.Not sure how I feel about that

Could go with another flavor of P365.
Of coarse, I've owned a few variants over the years. The standard P365 is a classic EDC that is proven. I was just replying to the "why retire mine" thing. The flavor of this one just did'nt fit my bill for EDC because of the sights.
