theres this skateing rink literary down the road from me that has some old karts and a track.i know those karts have set at least 8yrs+. i know they may be well beyond repair, but i like to credit my self with determination. if it dosen't work well then its gonna!

they say they don't know if there gonna try and fix'em or get rid of them. i offerd to work on them if there gonna fix'em thus makeing me the go-kart mechanic. if they get rid of them then free karts!

i see it as a win win.

be a great summer job doing something i like!

Heh, I've yet to see a shop air conditioned in southern heat for anything mechanical. You can't beat the heat round here.
I'm only in NY, but our school building is no joke. Today it was a high of 97. The classrooms were low 90's and our breakroom was a consistent 93 degrees all day, even with windows/fans going.

I never saw a house without A/C until I spent a year in Saratoga Springs :rolleyes3:

If someone offered me 8 karts I couldn't say no. My back yard would look like a mini junkyard....but only for a little while

That's would have been literally like a dream come true for me. If you help promote it and get attendance up, maybe they'll even cut you in on the action.

Keep us posted!
