Porting question

I have a 6.5 clone with the usual mods(exhaust, springs, filter)and im wondering how much of a difference porting the head will make?

I know with larger engines(i play with ford 5.0s as well)it makes a big difference but im kinda new to the single cylinder world of performance.

Im thinking bigger cam and head work. Im not racing or anything its just a yard kart that I drive to my friends houses and I like to get there as fast as possible lol.

was told without bigger valves.. NOTMUCH all I would do is unshroud the valve.

maybe the shortside radius. AT MOST but realize you sacrifice TQ when you do this.

Don't polish the intake! Also you most likely won't notice the change from porting it.

Hmm I figured it wouldnt do much. Ive been weighing either getting all the machine work on my head for bigger valves, porting, cut for 11:1 compression(just running 93 octane), or just buying another head so if something happens to the new head I still have another laying around.

thats what I did I have a 18cc head cut down to give me 11.??:1 stiffer springs.. awaiting CAM so I can install it.

I been puttin off buyin the cam, dunno why hahaha
