Portable ac / heater

Anyone use one in their garage? I have a 2 car garage and want to get one of these, maybe not this exact model, but one that is both an ac and a heater. It seems like here in Texas it goes from too hot to too cold over night and vice versa, I want to be able to work in the garage and be somewhat comfortable. Does anyone use one of these and how well does it work? I am thinking 12-14000 btus....

Heater, I can understand. But A/C? C'mon! A huge cup of ice water is all you need.

I drink so much water I get sick...
