the **** is with Americans and lawyers

half the problems
and most the bullshit rules are from stupid people who cant sort stuff out for them selves

this really gets to me because it may solve your problem now but then they'll make a new blanket rule that'll apply to everyone and some day some poor bugger is going to cop a big fine for the simplest mistake

man the **** up and go talk to the neighbor
have a reasonable discussion like grown adults

everything is black and white unless u wanna go make it complicated

why is everyone these days all about me me me
if people took a step back and thought about others for once the world would be a fare calmer, nicer place

do u think humans got to be so superior because we worked as individuals
1 human is worth less than the air we breath
we must work together and get along
we did it for the first 3.5 billion year why stop now

im not really blaming any one person but the system is getting its self in such a tangle that its going to all collapse in on its self at some point

when my tree was dropping leave in my neighbors pool she said can u prune it
i said thatll cost alot for a tree pruner
how bout i pay 75 as its my tree and u pay 25 as its your problem
a week later
tree fixed

big 21st birthday down the road
the guy comes round and gives everyone a few days notice and offers a six pack
no one cared it went to 3am

Earth is only 4.2 billion years old. Yes it's true that life on this planet was possible as far back as 3.5 billion years ago, but us, homo sapiens, only emerged somewhere around 200,000 years ago. Although primates (Yes we're primates) emerged about 14 million years ago. Just kinda wanted to fix that, since a lot of species that emerged 3.5 billion were only bacteria/single celled organisms, which are only dependent upon themselves. They didn't need others to survive. Even larger mammals didn't necessarily rely on others, besides mating purposes, to survive. The ones that did rely on others to survive didn't rely on absolutely every single being in their race. A lion in one pride won't rely on another lion in a different pride mainly because they don't know each other and grew up in their own clique. A shrewdness of apes won't necessarily (In fact, it's usually the opposite) rely on another shrewdness to live. Yes, we didn't work as individuals but we didn't completely rely on groups either.

It's not all about, "me me me," it's about preventing an individual from ruining the fun of multiple people (Or if you want, a group). Now if you ask me, the guy who is complaining is more about the, "me me me," ideology. Why wouldn't the complainer go to the group first and talk to them? If you ask me, NewEnglandGoKartParts is more about the, "us us us."

Guess I kinda had a rant of my own huh? I do agree with on of your points though.

People should try to work things out before going to the law. It could potentially save a lot of problems. But this guy didn't go to NewEnglandGoKartParts and his buddies (That we know of) but instead went straight to the police, which cause this whole conundrum. So now NewEnglandGoKartParts has to come to us for advise on what to do.

I also think you have many good points, it drives me nuts when people just meander around like they're the only one on the planet, with no regart for anyone else around them...

However, although I think it's a good idea to "confront" the neighbour, by doing so may make him/her feel threatened & put them into defense mode & someone could end up with a restraining order... because that's the world we live in...

go talk to your neighbor. be polite and honestly try to work something out.
you are neighbors its up to both of you to act like neighbors. few things suck more than living /working next door to someone you hate.
de escalation is preferable (in this situation) to escalation. tell him everyone involved is going to install mufflers to keep the noise down (and actually do it), invite him over, do what you can to make a friend instead of an enemy. if it works problem solved. if he can not be swayed, then screw him, stay within the law and when he complains tell him to pound sand.
as far as the cops go, i would talk to the chief face to face and ask him to recite specifically what laws/regulations you are in violation of ( if you were currently violating any laws something would have already been done). and let him know you are meeting with your atty afterwards to make sure you are in compliance with all state and local laws.
end all conversations with a thanks for your time and have a nice day.
point is...police chief is already pi$$ed, if you go at him all puffed up, you WILL get the $#it end of the stick on that confrontation. if you let him know you are making all efforts to stay within the law, he has to direct his frustration at the whiny neighbor.
if you are legal and polite then nothing can be done about what you are doing, no matter how many calls are made.
if you are legal.....UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE YOU TO STOP RACING ON YOUR PRIVATE PROPERTY

I went through a similar situation. .... (actually 2....) when I was a teenager and a young man. One was trying to fish a creek that bordered a guy's property. ...we made many requests. ...and all came back from all authorities........Iinvolved. ..that we were within our rights to fish this creek.....as it was navagativale water and as such......pubic domain......

But yet time and again....we got run off by the sheriff or deputy.

The other involved playing my guitar. ......

To keep this short....let me just say....that right or wrong. ....(and usually wrong! .) the cops always seem to side with the caller....
