Polaris clucth

I seen on the forum some where a polaris clutch was used on a motor with a 1inch shaft .Can some one tell me how this was done. The polaris has a tapered shaft.

maybe he had the crank taper cut at a machine shop to match?

Yep either had an adapter made or had the crank machined

To have it machined would mean removing it from the engine
