How do I attach a file to a post?

To attach a file to your post, you need to be using the main 'New Post' or 'New Thread' page and not 'Quick Reply'. To use the main 'New Post' page, click the 'Post Reply' button in the relevant thread.

On this page, below the message box, you will find a button labelled 'Manage Attachments'. Clicking this button will open a new window for uploading attachments. You can upload an attachment either from your computer or from another URL by using the appropriate box on this page. Alternatively you can click the Attachment Icon to open this page.

To upload a file from your computer, click the 'Browse' button and locate the file. To upload a file from another URL, enter the full URL for the file in the second box on this page. Once you have completed one of the boxes, click 'Upload'.

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window. You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

What files types can I use? How large can attachments be?

In the attachment window you will find a list of the allowed file types and their maximum sizes. Files that are larger than these sizes will be rejected. There may also be an overall quota limit to the number of attachments you can post to the board.

How do I add an image to a post?

If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and select it from the list. This will be inserted into your post and can be located where you want it displayed.

To include an image that is not uploaded as an attachment and is located on another website, you can do so by copying the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located), and either pressing the 'Insert Image' icon or by typing
after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image. You can insert pictures from your albums (?) in this way too.

It's a torque converter. I bought the same size that came on it!

...But how do you know the correct belt was on it to begin with?

Pics of everything; kart, engine, TC, axle, whatever; the more we know the easier it is for us to diagnose the problem

While you figure out how to post pics, you can give us the tooth count on the TC sprocket as well as the axle sprocket. We can then see if it is gearing. OH....and give us the tyre diameter, measuresd from the ground to the top of the tyre

We will get you moving, we just need all the info first to diagnose the problem

#1 number of teeth on Torque Converter sprocket. #2 number of teeth on the axle sprocket. #3 height of tire from the ground to the top of tire.
These are needed to calculate the gear ratio you have to see if thats where your problem is.
If you have android phone, hit that "post reply" button , NOT quick reply. Next screen will have a little paper clip above the text box. Hit that paper clip. New page opens. In top section, hit manage attachments button, there is 5 in a row. Once you have pics chosen, hit the "upload" button in same block. Once it up loads, close that page, add some verbiage to the text area and hit "post". Your pic should be shown in the post..... try it out. P M me if it dont work or you dont understand....

what exactly do you need?

First off, we need you to use the edit button in the lower right corner of your posts as opposed to multiple posts minutes apart :)

Nope, no idea; can you give us a hint :lolgoku:

Did you follow ML-TOYS' instructions?

Let's try this: Instead of simply making a "quick reply", click the "Post reply" button just above it & to the left; this will take you to a new page.

If you scroll down below the reply text box, you will see an "Additional Options" box, within which is a "Manage Attachments" button; clicking on that button will open a new window.

At the top you will see a bunch of "Browse" buttons, click one at a time & find the appropriate pic on your computer. Once you locate the correct pic, double click on it.

Repeat the above process using different "browse" buttons until you have all the pics or you run out of buttons & click the "upload" button to the right of them.

DON'T CLOSE THE WINDOW YET! When you see the image names appear under "Manage Attachments" on the post page, you can then either close the window or browse for more pics if you wish; you can upload up to 10 pics per post.

Once you've done all that, scroll down & click "Submit Reply"

Hmm, that's wierd. The system may be creating a new member block (setup to ward off spammers); how many pics are you trying to load?

Did an error message appear at the top of the upload box? Your pics may be too big

I know it is a bit of a pain to load from IPhones. We will get you sorted though. Have a look at THIS thread on posting. It might help with the Iphone problem

The belt number you have also doesn't look as if it is a comet belt. I have a sneaky suspicion you are buying the incorrect belts.

Have a look at the table of belts in the pic below to get your correct belt. What you have to do is measure the distance between the centre of the driver (where the bolt is) and the centre of the driven (where the bolt is). You then take that distance, look at the chart and choose the belt according to that distance. Oh...you also have to measure the diameter of the driven part (the one that is NOT attached to the engine). It will be 6" or 7".

You can post the centre distance here if you like and we can help you out

Tapatalk FTW! I use it exclusively for forums on my phone. You can upload as attachments or embed directly in the post right through tapatalk. Highly recommended
