Hi I just got this kart from a friend of mine he said he don't know what kind it was got it a flea market I know it is some type of race kart it needs some work but he gave it to me here are some pics thank you for you time

I am sorry did not mean it like that I am looking for some help I don't know much about them the seat was adjustable it rusted out now zip ties hold it on lol it needs some work so I was hoping someone would know what type of frame it is and such it's been a long time since I was on here

I beg to differ... it doesn't look like a margay to me.. closer to a DAP or CRG... (still no match imho though)

But, you'll find a chassis number, somewhere hidden (scratch proof) inside the bearing retainers under the seat, towards the center of the kart on a side rail... inside the spindle hangers....

you get the idea...

Somewhere where it's hard to have it scratched in an accident.

my be a margay kart still getting info

I am still new at this posted pics a couple guys think it my be a older margay the pics of the motor mounts look like a margay it needs work I just put on a 6.5 honda clone it needs a new seat and seat hardware it rusted out looks like someone made the bottom skid plate out of a stop sign lol I am going to send some pics to margay.com they said they may be able to help Id if it is a margay will keep everyone posted I want to redo the kart I know this site is where the pros go

Sorry about that dumb me not very good at this posting stuff don't want to make anyone mad this is the best site on the Web I think I have a lot of questions not afraid to touch anything in need of guidance that's all lol

Problem solved, threads merged; please try to keep all questions relating to the same kart in the same thread, it makes life so much easier...

I take offense to this post....please delete it.....OR....mods:.....let my response stand....fair is friggin fair......

Getting a bit tired of being insulted....without even being able to respond.....I'm not a red-neck....I'm a proud Texan.....but...when push comes to shove....I can mess you up with the best of them.....
