I'm purchasing 5” diameter x 3-1/2” wide wheels and some 10x4.5-5 inch slicks that the site says will fit on them. I'm building a drift trike and am new to all things "go-karting" so I'm very confused by a few things.

Firsty, Will a tire that is 4.5 wide actually fit onto a 3-1/2" wide rim??

secondly, where can I find inner tubes for this tire? I can't seem to find anything that is 10x4.5-5 only things that come up are 4.1/3.5-4 and I don't even know what that means haha

I have to have 10/10.5" diameter wheels so I can put 10" pvc sleeves on them. unless I can find wheels that are 6" for a live axle but I cant seem to find slicks like that.

I would call and speak to someone at BMI. They carry all kinds of tubes.

But also yes. Your 4.5 tires will fit the 3.5 wheels just fine.
and pretty much any 5" go kart tube will work.
IMHO get tubeless tires, Sometimes a wheel can spin in side a tire and it will shear off the inner tube filler neck.
