I am building my own go kart and I NEED HELP on how to setup my rear axle and brakes and wheels. I would like to use band brakes and i am also using a Briggs and Stratton lawn mower engine.

Tall order.
Is engine a vertical shaft? If so, get a horizontal shaft model. Too much trouble otherwise...especially if you're a beginner.

Yeah it is I'll look into getting a horizontal shaft engine
