Hey everyone,

I have been looking to do a Kart project with my son now for a little while and came across this... Not sure what it is but it looks like a decent frame, any chance it's a Margay? What time period is it from? Any info would be appreciated.

It looks like there is a lot of great info on here, I'm also working on converting a Honda 3 wheeler to a fat tired 2 wheeler, looks like I should have come here first for info on hubs axles gears ect

Wow that's kinda interesting, the front looks like a 70's era race kart (possibly a Margay, does it have any #'s stamped in the frame near the R-F spindle?) but I've never seen any race karts with a tail section like that. I'm thinking someone did some serious mods on that frame but you never know...

If you wanna find out for sure post some more/larger/better pics over in the General section of bobs4cycle forum, (they got lots of older racers over there that can usually ID most any vintage kart) and then be sure to let us know back here what you learn.

I see that for sale locally here in Portland for $400. If you thinking about buying that kart you may want to see what I have for sale.

I will sell you this for $600 cash. It is a 80's Bug Black Widow. KT100 engine
