So I recently bought a Baja dune 150 go kart and but it needed a new motor. I was going to put a different motor in it however costs and work will be extensive. So I want to find the stock motor and drive sprocket from the stock engine because I would know it all matches up and it may just be better to save all the time and hassle of fitting in a different engine and all other parts to go along with it.
Now my questions is where the hell do I find the right parts?
I have been doing hours of research online and am having a hard time finding exact parts. one reason being...the axle has a double sprocket on it with the large double chain. Now I am pretty sure the stock engine was just based from the GY6 However I am having trouble finding the size of the drive shaft coming from the cvt and an even harder time finding a double sprocket to fit it.
I have found that the rear set up is exactly that of the tomberlin 150 because it too has a double sprocket.
So I was wondering if anyone with the same kart could tell me the shaft size of the gy6 engine they have and how many teeth size ect of the drive sprocket. And where I can find these parts... thanks for any responses
