plans for zx 600 engine

I found a Ninja ZX 600 engine and frame online for $350. Would it be practicle/safe if I used that on one of my go kart frames? what would i have to do to change that?

It depends upon the frame, but it will most likely need a considerable amount of gusseting as well as the clutch and shifting linkage. Not to mention possibly a larger engine bay to accommodate the engine. What kind of karts do you have and what tools do you have available?

my brother is a mechanic and has every tool you could think of so thats no problem. I have a yerf dog with a ohh60 tec that i use for off road ****. but im in the process of making a frame for a little race kart. so i can build around the engine. i just am unsure if it would be worth all that money to put into it and it not to work. haha
