Plans came as a bunch of scanned images, not a PDF

Hey all, first post here

My dad and I just started on a go kart build and bought a set of detailed plans online. Kind of ran into a snag though: instead of one clean PDF, what we got was a folder of like 40 separate scanned image files (mix of jpg and some weird raw scanner format), no order to them, no index.

Trying to print them out to work from in the garage but it's a mess flipping between 40 individual image files. Anyone dealt with something like this before? Did you just manually reorganize and print each one, or is there an easier way to merge them into one document?

Is there any image converter out there that doesn't need to be downloaded/installed? Would rather not put random software on my laptop just to sort out a stack of scanned images. Any tips appreciated, this is our first build so still figuring out the workflow.

Well, first of all maybe it would help if you named the cheap bast@#*$ who did it. 😡
Do they at least have page numbers, maybe that you missed ?

Haha, honestly don't want to start a whole thing calling them out — bought it off a random site, might've just been a bad batch of scans on their end. Lesson learned for next time, I'll ask before buying if plans come as a proper PDF.

As for page numbers — good call, went back and checked and yeah, a few of them do have tiny numbers in the corner, easy to miss when they're scanned at an angle. Still missing an actual index/table of contents though, so still piecing together the order from those. Ended up just converting the whole batch to one PDF and printing that instead — way easier than 40 loose files.

Thanks for the welcome!🥳

Yikes, scanned at an angle, more like photographed in perspective. Been there, done that (tried to correct).

So you solved the dilemma and are good to go?
Or as good as you can be?
What is the finished kart supposed to look like?

Dunno about image converters for like a bulk PDF but have been having fun with A.I. image enhancers on a 1 per 1 basis. They can enlarge and correct a lot of blurring, defects and pixelated “grain” but are not to be trusted, meaning they can make people look vastly different from the way they really are.
