so today, well trying to rebuild a lawnmower i figured i needed a needle and seat, i called the local lawn and garden shop and they said its 50 dollars for the rebuild kit, wtf

Why do you need a needle and seat? Just clean it up.

Spend your money on a service manual for that thing.

What the? The rebuild kit for my 2bb 2150 Motorcraft carb was only like $25. Find a new lawn and garden shop.

the seat is bad, thought id replace the needle well i was at it

ive sprayed cleaner threw it, put it all back together nothing, then i fixed it davids farm style, you take a small philips scrwdriver, and barley push on the seal and turn it back and forth, still nothng,
