Just FYI Oscar, you shouldn't use an impact on a flywheel. You'll crack it and cause to explode even easier.

I never said IMPACT it on. Impact it OFF. I use a wrench to torque it back on.

Cleanse valves, lap them, slightly port it (take off factory casting imperfections), new rings, mill head?

Anybody that doesn't use a torque wrench will sooner or later pay for one anyway.

Yep they give ya one for free after picking the cast iron from your back(assuming you live).

Amen! I recently began using the one I got about a year and a half ago. It actually makes things easier because there's no guesswork when torquing the bolts/nuts about whether they're tight enough or not if you're sticking to specs.

Just because I'm cheap sometimes don't mean I'll bolt something unsafe up...
