Picked up a new project today

I picked up a new project today cheap. I couldn't pass it up. I can't find any model on the kart, but after researching different pictures and manuals I'm pretty sure the kart is a carter model 2535. Here are some pictures. It needs work. I need a belt, chain and a jack shaft sprocket.

I looked at that but the axle is actually bent back. I noticed when I got it home. Looks like someone hit that side. There also is damage on the bumper. Can't see that in the pic. I will have to straighten that out this weekend.

Ok thanks I'll let you know. I paid $200 for it with a new hf 212 engine. My goal is to the get the parts that are missing and get it up and running. Then over the winter strip the kart down replace anything that needs to be, clean it and repaint.

Ok thought I give a quick update. So far I replaced the bearings on the jack shaft and axle. Cleaned up the old sprocket, replaced the chain and small sprocket. Had to fab up a new brake rod and replaced the drum and brake band. I'm just waiting on a belt and I can take this thing for a spin. I also ordered a new lap belt and seat cushion. In the spring I will replace the tires.
