Did you get to make sure everything fits? I ordered a rebuild kit for a carb and when the parts got here they didnt fit :(, just make sure everything fits and get it running and take a vid for us folks to see :)

I haven't yet but from looking at it I am pretty confident it's the correct parts. These Chinese Honda clones are pretty generic across the board. I may piss it with it some tomorrow evening if it isn't too hot. I have been trying to score a cheap portable ac unit for the garage but havent had any luck yet.

Well now I feel like a complete idiot. They are not as cookie cutter generic as I had thought.

I see a ebay auction in my future....

What really stinks is I just traded a rusted up bare bones mini bike frame for a new go kart frame to mount this motor too tonight. Dang it, dang it, dang it. Owell, I will get the correct part, this is just another delay...

You sure did, I didn't notice it wasn't the same until I actually installed it. The cylinder sleeve was hitting the crank not allowing it to go all the way on like it supposed to, that is when I noticed the problem.

Well here it is running finally. For how long I dont know. I had bought another cylinder off of ebay but it didnt fit either, the over all height was correct but turns out the over all diameter of the cylinder sleeve was 2mm bigger whats on it and would not go down inside the crank case. So, since I had a new set of rings and nothing to lose I took some 120 grit sand paper to the inside of the cylinder, then some 320, and then i used a wore down paint remover on the end of my drill and polished it up best I could, put it back together and it fired right up. It smokes a little bit but I figured it would with the cylinder being pitted like it is. I am going to go ahead and start trying to figure out how to fab it up to the black go kart I got in a trade for that mini bike frame.

great that you got it running. I dont think itll be too much of a problem, just make sure that you keep the engine well oiled and maybe even use a little more than normal, just to make sure that the cylinder and the piston get lubed up real nice so that theres not alot of friction and theres less chance of it seizing up...

to mount it to the kart i would just cut the whole subframe/ engine mount out of the bike, and weld it onto your kart
