Sent him an email asking if he would sell for less without the engine...he said he would do $650

That must be a super nice Predator if he thinks it's worth $350 less without it... I'm assuming it's a 212, it's what it looks like


The bike is cool looking, but I could get a small street legal bike for just a little more

Oh. I was under the impression he just had the frame and put a predator engine on it.

The reason I was surprised at the price was because I see lots of mini choppers pop up around here in the 400-500 range with 4 or 5 speed manual transmissions. Was basing his 1k as too much off that.

But if it was a scratch build, then I'll totally give him the 1k price

Part of me is just sore I can't afford it LOL

There's a guy on fb who makes frames like those, the welded frame is $800 and the welded it yourself frame is $375. Says he had one with a TC and a nearly stock 212 do 64 mph.

A grand is more than I would pay for it, but if it's from scratch, the guy has a lot of work in it. It looks very comfortable for an adult. It has a nice chopper stance to it.
