Pedals (clutch,brake,gas)

Ok guys i am almost finished with my kart frame and my only concern now is what kind of design will i have to setup in order to connect the gas wire from engine to pedal. The same question goes for the clutch wire but i kinda know how the brakes will work. Also what kind of pedals shall i make? Can i get some cheap ones or is it easy to make home made ones?

i would definitely suggest making peals, the simplest way to do so is something like this:

cables will hook up to the pedals pretty easy, you just need something to hold the cable sheathe, and a simple method of holding the cable to the pedal:

How does the clutch system work though.

you said you use a clutch cable right? well then you can hook it up pretty much the same as the throttle cable.

you could also look into mounting a clutch lever on the gear shift lever.

not really, just make sure everything operates smoothly, and is nice and sturdy were it needs to be!
