I actually just Googled it because I'd never heard of a split rim before. I'm just getting into this so forgive my ignorance with some of the terminology. I don't think it is, the bolts are holding the wheel on to the hub....and I don't see any sort of locking ring. on either side....but of course I could be wrong. How can I tell for sure?
Since the one rim/wheel is bent, I could investigate since I'm going to scrap it. Might as well try and break the bead on it and look if I can (never tried breaking a tire bead before).
Since it says "tubeless" on the tire I just assumed that it was tubeless. From what I've researched, these are tires that are supposed to go on lawn tractors and other power equipment, but for whatever reason, the people that had this kart before my sons friend decided to put these tires on it I guess.
