finally got the hubs and rims today, unfortunatley the hubs i ordered don't have set screws so i need to order some 1" locking w/ 1/4" keyway collars to keep from having lateral movement. anyone know a kart shop in the chicagoland area, i would hate to have to orders these and pay shipping on 2 tiny pieces.

On my hubs, I just drilled a hole completely through the hub and axle (on the outside near the end of the axle) and put a 1/4" bolt through the whole thing.

i was thinking about that but seeing how i don't have access to a drill press and it is over 1" thick steel with the hubs I wouldn't even attempt that with a hand drill. i uploaded a crappy video hopefully we can make a better one tomorrow on a real camera.

while the bosses girlfriend was out riding my kart she managed to hit a sewer grat popped the welds on the steering loop, and i don't have welder... hemp to the rescue:D:

i tried zip ties first but they would pop when under any stress but the hemp really holds firm.
