Parking Brake?

My kart (Manco Dingo) has a single rear mechanical disc brake for stopping. Ideally, I'd like to replace that with a hydraulic brake down the road, but that's not the question for now. The question for now is, are there easy ways to add a parking brake? If I have to stop it on uneven ground and don't want it to roll down a hill and end up at the bottom of a reservoir? I know some karts have them, I've seen it listed in the specs. I don't see how it would work with my setup though?

To make things more complicated, I'm also hoping to switch to an open diff at some point. So I'll need two calipers and two discs. And for an E brake to be effective, I assume I'd want it to clamp both discs, if that's how they work.

You could also have a cotter pin or something of the sort to keep the brake pedal down when pushed in.

Lmao I put a parking brake on my bike build because there's basically nowhere level to park anywhere here in the mountains, not even my garage really since there's a bit of a dip in the middle of each bay that pulls runoff towards the doors.

What I did was made a secondary caliper mount forward mirrored of the service brake and attached it to a 3speed muscle bike Shifter (yes, an antique Shimano Click-Stick not a cheap replica knockoff).
I did have to put a BSA/Norton/Triumph brake light switchI on the brake cable an hook it to an idiot warning light... I did an idiot thing that trashed a rotor and caliper.

When you upgrade to hydraulic, I'd also get new pads and do a refresh on the mechanical calipers
then figure out where a plate could be welded onto the frame to carry it as a parking brake.

It only needs to hold when parked not stop at full send so "ideal" placement doesn't apply, make it fit without interference or dangerously at risk of being bashed from below is the only real goal and I know parking brake lever kits do exsist for karts.
