All right, what paint are you using? Brand?

I'm using Krylon metallic gold paint in a rattle can, I'm having trouble, when it drys it gets a little bit rough, anyone know how to fix?? 4 year's ago when I was 11 was the last time I've really done any painting, Hard to remember


For the black paint I used Benjamin Moore semi gloss enamel, stole it out of my father's shop
(Using paint gun)

I mixed up a top coat, black paint with sparkley stuff *cough um*eye shadow


Once everything thing is dry after a couple days I'll put a clear coat to protect every thing...

Thanks Sid Blue / White looks pretty nice, but I'm more of a dark or flashy colours person...
Should of put that in my first post sorry....

That shade of blue looks a little Fagulous to me.

Painted rim's gold... Think they turned out pretty good.

Maybe it's your light. The gold wheels look more like copper to me.

Each to their own but, IMO, black is over rated & over done...

Three possible causes I can think of:
1. the surface wasn't prepped correctly (90% of a good paint job is prep)
2. you sprayed too heavy; many light coats is better than one heavy coat
3. you used a "wrinkle" of "texture" type paint
4. all of the above...

Might have sprayed too far away, having the paint dry somewhat in mid-air.

I prefer light coats and then a final wet coat to get the shine up. If it's still kinda cruddy, you can wait till it's dry enough to sand and wet sand it with something like 600 grit sandpaper, then hit it with the paint again. Build up some paint layers ...which is also good, durability-wise.

It does look like COPPER... which looks FABULOUSSS! Not gay.

I might have choped that thump off with an axe, so it's a little messed up.. I'll hold it with the other hand next time

You need your eyes checked. That's something a manicure won't cure.
