Howdy.
I suppose I'm new, but I've got my first thread already running in the engine section, so this "Intro" is belated I guess. I don't generally post in this section on other forums I've signed up on, since I get the impression they're generally not really read a lot, and when they are it's more like an AA meeting....
"Hi, my name is Bryan, and I'm a kartaholic"
"Hi Bryan"
Great, now what? Pretty much anything else I have to say from this point should be posted in another category, right?
Anyway, I was looking for a section for local stuff and didn't see one. Most other forums I'm on have a category for that. I was wondering is if there are any others here from the Olympia area of the great Evergreen State. I'm planning on doing most of my riding at Capitol Forest, and it would be more fun with a group.
I'm just getting into this, so I'm at the beginning of the learning process. Maybe you're in the same boat, and we could combine resources and accelerate the learning curve. I've found a project is easier when you've got a second brain helping you think about it, and as much help as I'm sure this forum will be, sometimes there's no substitute for just seeing it firsthand.
So, hi everybody. And if there's any Oly peeps out there, gimme a shout.
