Now your car wont move loll

No it would corner great. You could also use hand control side DUAL mounted rear E-Brake to help slide the rear end around and thru corners. With a side mounted dual rear E-Brake on each side you can switch sides depending on which way your turning.

You could turn on a dime while burning rubber at the same time.

Sounds like your playing the drums with one hand here one hand there then push one pedal with one foot then the other pedal with the other foot and so on.lol. I would just have one pedal for gas one for brake.

why not 4 brake pedals, one for each tire, and 3 gas pedals, because you should not put an engine on the left front tire.

Okay- picture this: Crank the wheel left, LOCK the left brake, PIN the right throttle!!!

Now that I've teased you with it, I should mention that this IS done!

Sort of.

In the competitive 4wd rockcrawling world, many of the buggies are set up with seperate left and right brakes, and differentials that lock and unlock with the flip of a switch. These trucks and buggies will turn impossibly tightly. The driver would unlock the differentials and lock the brake on the side they want to turn to, say left. Steer the wheels left, and hit the throttle. Because the differentials are unlocked and the left tires can't move, ALL power is delivered to the right tires, and the truck doesn't steer left, it PIVOTS left. Cool, huh?

imo its going to understeer badly, it needs something like a 30/70 power spilt and also its going to be a ***** to steer without a diff

Additionally, tractors have separate left and right brake pedals, but are close enough together to be applied with one foot at the same time.

You betcha! Both of mine have seperate brakes, with a lock pin that ties them together if desired. Also- a differential lock on each- same deal. First time I tried the above trick, I was amazed!

Not all the time. I have seen them on smaller tractors (where you pretty much sit on the transmission) they are on oppersite sides. But work on the same principle, you see one wheel skiding, apply that brake, and so on.

That's screwy- How do you operate the clutch? My clutch is on the left, both brake pedals are on the right. (Both tractors). How would you work the brake and clutch seperately if they're at the same foot???

Same with my great uncles International 2500, John Deere Model A, and his 2005 closed-cab John Deere. Pics, toystory?
