We had a little manco dingo as kids some 25-30 years ago. My brother recently decided to re-kindle those memories and recreate for his kids so picked up a rather knackered old dingo for them.

Someone had tried to restore, well at least get the thing running and made a bit of a hash of it. Anyway, a few replacement parts later and putting things right, we now have it running, moving and stopping. The final thing we need to do is the kill switch on the steering wheel, which was missing altogether.

Can anyone advise where this needs wiring in to? I am assuming we can just link this in to the existing engine mounted on/off switch wiring but thought working checking. Pic attached.

Thanks
Lewis

The wire going into the thru fitting into the motor is going to the "LOW OIL" sensor to .....not allow the motor to start if the oil is low. Most of us either cut that wire...or open up the engine and completely remove the sensor. Reason....when you make a hard accelerating turn, the oil will slush away from the sensor and the motor will die. These motors were made for pressure washers, log splitters and other stationary machines... not for centrifugal force creating vehicles.

Welcome. One from the switch and one to ground. Or would that be earth.
Knackered, are you from the U. K. Also do like Flash recommends, cut the wire
from the low oil sensor or remove it altogether.
