Older Torque Converter Stuck

I have this older go kart that I am pulling parts off and rebuilding. I have successfully rebuilt the other end of this TC but can't seem to get the rest of the engine shaft mounted portion off. I got the outside off with a puller but cant seem to get the inner part off. I cant see anything that could be holding it. Has anyone delt with this gem before?

you could take a torch and get it cherry red hot then rapidly cool it but you'll probably ruin the seal on the case by doing so, I would even try rust remover and putting it in a jar or vase that the shaft and half of clutch could fit in and soak over night, outside of that, maybe some shots of PB Blaster and let it sit

I will give those a try. I have tried the PB blaster before I posted. No luck. It should just pull off right? It wouldn't be screwed onto the shaft. Inside the TC shaft towards the engine is a 5/8" thread that a long bolt goes into once it's all put together. But I have no idea what the bigger threads are for on the top of the shaft that's in the picture. The engine is junk. Don't care about anything that is engine related. Just want the TC.
