old style Margay rims.

Anybody got a set of Margay rims for sale? The old style six spoke wheels that have margay written on them. I have an original set of Dart Turbine rims, but I am trying to build an A-Bone to look like one I had as a kid. Thanks.

the best thing to do is look around at some old shops that fix four wheelers and dirt bikes.i found a good set after looking around for about a year.fond them at a small shop in the country.

I sure hope you didn't just buy that set off EEEE bay.

I'd have given you all the wheel stuff I have for $320ppd.

no,i found mine locally.the guy had been in the small engine repair business for about 20 years,had over 300 go karts mini bikes four wheelers and lawn mowers,i just trook my time and walked and looked at what he had for about and hour.Found an old go kart another business owner has ,but he want sell it.its been sitting in the same place for 2 years.hes doing nothing with it ,but want sell it.Just a good kart chassis going to waste.

so now i am looking for an old margay chassis.(the one with the motor mounted on the side.)i am looking locally.will travel up to 1 1/2 hours to pick it up if i fine one.Its out ther just have to keep searching.Thats the fun part of it.

No I didnt spend 320 on ebay either. I have been searching around a little. I managed to find one set that were in near perfect condition on a kart at a small engine shop. The owner was having the kart gone through for his kids christmas last year. I offered to buy him a new set of trophy wheels and hubs, but he declined. They'll turn up somewhere when its least expected.
