Old Race Kart to get back on the road

New to old go carts & we are building this old kart we found at an estate auction. We are getting it going to just use as a play kart to just mess around with.

The only things we know : Hurst / Airheart rear brake caliper & Margay wheels.

We are wanting to make this a period piece & just make it a fun little ride.

I have an old flathead motor that runs good for now just to get it going with the long term plan of getting an old 2 stroke for it.

Not sure how the front bumper assy would have looked & where the pedals went. The one on it seems to be too far forward.

I don't know if the kart and a Briggs Raptor fit into the same era or matching dates or whatever, but the Briggs wouldn't be out of place on it.
