Old Paint/Grime Help

My cart is covered in bad paint jobs and grime, How should I go by taking off the old paint, grime I suppose some soap and water, but some of the crappy paint jobs are chipping/ it just looks strait up horrible.

So Help me, I'd like to get the paint off the metal its self without paying a lot so I can prime it and paint it what I want, and it not be crappy spray paint job.

I have the sand paper, But do I really need a grinder? Ive just been slowly scraping it off with my knife when I get bored of trying to figure wth is wrong with the engine, And what about plastic parts/ like they painted over the gas tank too...

Get the grinder out and save yourself some time, Hand sand the plastic till smooth and prime it!

Grind it with a wire brush to bare metal. Buy the por15 starter kit. Brush on the por15. Let it dry for few days. Then take your pocket knife and try to scratch or even chip the paint. You will fail. Paint your kart for $20 and never paint again. Never worry about rock chips, And spill all the gas and brake fluid you like. I could smash your frame rail flat with a pipe wrench before por15 will chip.

Wire wheel. The best to take off paint. In the tougher areas you might have to use a bit of paint stripper, and then the wheel again
