Old new guy here

Hi guys. An old guy here that has returned to Karting in his 2nd childhood. I played with Karts in the late 70's and early 80's and loved it but I have forgotten most of what we did then and what we used. A couple of us "Old Guys" have put together some yard karts using some re-worked and stretched Azusa frames and Predator engines. We play on a dirt oval I made and for the most part have a blast. Some of the questions I may ask may be pretty lame but hold with me, its been a while. Look forward to talking with you.

Cool! I wish I had an old track nearby to putt around on. Judging by your signature, it may be time to start secretly modifying your predator engine!

KF I have, I just didn't mention that. Rod, Flywheel, cam, carb, jets, exhaust, valve springs, it scoots! Haven't played much, still finding the weak spots. Had to beef up the motor mount, torquey motor would flex it and had chain problems. Engine runs super nice. I get to learn all over again!
