Not starting on this one quite yet, but it will be next I've decided. When I got it home it had a smaller fiberglass seat mold, and a run down briggs on it. I'll most likely be removing the hinge in the frame unless it's some sort of rare factory addition, but to me appears home made and probably unsafe. Most likely going with a honda clone of some sort, nothing special. Been looking for one of these since my biological father sold the one I had as a kid and broke every promise he made in the process, my turn to fulfill those promises to myself as usual lol.

That looks pretty good for home made. I realy like the idea of using that beefy hinge to marry the two halves. Quite clever that. It might not look good, but it works :D

I'm just wondering if that is what is causing the slight twist in the front end, hard to see even in person, but it does seem to lean to it's right a bit. I'll find out for sure once I pull it apart I suppose.

Been wondering about this, can a t/c function properly if ran in-board like this? The sprocket on the jackshaft is kinda janky too.

I looked and attempted for 25ish years to find one close to what I had as a kid, even then had to mix and match stuff, and I'll have to rebuild the spring front end I have as its bent badly. If you can acquire even one they are fairly rare if they are factory frames and not home made. I slightly over traded for the ones I got, but there was only one other and he wanted over $1000.

He wants too much in my opinion, too much home made remedies for me at that price, maybe if he'd take $150-175, figure the fiberglass seat is worth around $50, I can get a non running honda clone for $50 or less, and a rolling chassis is worth at least $50, I'd say nothing more than $200 because it's at least repairable.
