DONT put more oil in the engine than the manual says! the extra oil will find a way out, wether its through the breather/valve cover, valve guides, or through the piston rings.

disconnect the low oil sensor from the kill switch and it wont stall

I don't want the teens to run it out of oil, but, I don't think it leaks as there is absolutely no evidence of this.
It was stalling out very often, even though the dipstick said normal. I put in about another 1/5 of a quart and it didn't stall anymore!
From my undersatnding, these engines aren;t really for gokarts, maybe more for generator type duty, thus the low oil cut-out.

youre right, theyre made for mostly stationary things so its not an issue there. check the oil often and you wont have any problems
