As I posted before I know nothing about go karts but go my daughter one and have no one that I can ask - she is having issue with her front wheel. I have two pictures - the one is of the side that is not broken - the other wheel has issues. I want to order parts but don't know what it is called or how to measure size (outside or inner opening) it's the part right before the tire

It took me a moment to see what was broken....
I see now... The bearing has blown up..... You need to unbolt the tire, and it should come off relatively easy.
There should be a number on the outer race of the bearing. Thats what you need to order...

Howabout a few more pics of the kart to see what we have and also someone might know off hand the bearing to get...

We took off the tire and took out the bearings. They are so worn away that there is no writing/marking of any kind. Can I tell the size from the size of the tire? Here are pics

The Napa auto parts in my town you can take a bearing that's broken like that and they'll find a new one.

Can't imagine it's any different at your local Auto parts or bearing shop...

Thank you so much! Do you know what the part is that I circled in one of the pictures?

Thank you so much! Do you know what the part is that I circled in one of the pictures?

Looks to just be a spacer for the proper offset. Otherwise the rim would grind on the spindles. Looks like maybe it melted or got chewed up from the bearing failure.

What he said ^^.

Schuess, or daughter Scheuss is the proud owner of the exalted Manco Dingo.

Is the axle spacer plastic or just mangled? It's also 5/8" inside diameter. It doesn't have to be from GoPoSpo, fleabay is as good a source as any, and often free shipping.

Thank you everyone! Yes we looked it up and it appears she has the 285. We just had a new Predator engine put on it. She loves it. Will replace bearings and spacers on both front tires (save the hassle of waiting for the next side to fail). Hopefully we wont have another issue for a bit. Thanks so much for the education, much appreciated!
