I am new to serious karting and have a ? I was given a Kohler k181t motor that from what I can see on the net is TTTTorqueeeee and that is what I would like to play with. Motor is stock and needs cleaning up esp. the gas tank (inside). does anyone know of a replacement gas tank for <$135. what is the first step in cleaning the carb. high speed is not an issue for me. and is this engine (if in good shape) worth trading for a 5.0hp tec. sport about a 1.5years old 4.5hrs run time. I don't think the tec. can carry the dingo and 300+lbs like I want it to.

It would be going on a Dingo with park brake 15in tires and where do I get a torque converter?

id keep the kohler over the tec, kohler makes good engines, and the kohler is bigger
for a gas tank just use any tank you can find and mount it above the carb
for carb cleaning just make sure the jets are clear and the float is is good and the needle is sealing
