oil type?

i have a briggs and stratton 5hp fun power motor and i was wondering what type of oil it would take,would 10W30 be the best?

i live in Ohio(US) so it gets cold but i mostly use it in the summer.

SAE 30 detergent is the factory recommended oil for 40°F and over.
Below 40° F, 5w30 or 10w30 should be used.
Using a multi-grade oil above 40°F will ultimately result in power loss.
