I am in the process of completing my off road kart. I have a 13hp-TAV40 instead of a jack shaft. I have 20" inch tires in the rear, which gives me clearance for a 60T Sprocket. Although I will add some guides to the new sprocket. Currently at a stand still waiting for the new sprocket, axle, bearings, and wheel hubs. I did a test run with the old axle it has a small axle sprocket, 30-40t. just run it up the driveway, and straight back into the garage. Yeah, then ordered the new parts. Anyway, there is a lot of info on this site for gear ratios, and what you think may make a slight difference may be a drastic error, I have been learning as I go along, but at the same time I knew I would need a lot of parts, and it is costly.
