Started building the engine cradle. It will be mounted on all 4 corners with bushing mounts from Barnes 4wd. The cradle will be removable but being mounted with the bushings will give a slight vibration dampening. View attachment 159827

Thanks but getting thoes little balls that I need to sand off. Both pieces of metal were bare and clean. Plenty of gas, doors closed so I didnt have a cross wind. And I snip the wire clean before I start. O well

Get a bigger tank and fix the leaks on the line.

Last year when I initially built the kart it had a duromax 440, now the plan is vanny 20hp twin

Still planning out the engine cradle width and placement. May end up moving the engine several inches to the passenger side of the buggy centerline because of the driver and driven weight. Also I will be in this buggy alone or with one of my kids and shifting the weight slightly passengerside will help the buggy sit level.

It works, its cheaper, I dont weld for a living.

I use C25 (75% Argon/25% CO2). Might run straight CO2 in the future.
