My wife is already a bit peeved I said I want to drop $1200 on a new welder this year. She would have even more of a fit if I said I want to drop $400 on a notcher.

just have to get her a few things and she'll be fine
You buy the welder, buy her the notcher! Win! Win!

l have been through a few notchers, over the years. I don’t use em any longer.
lf ya have a good drill press, get a decent vice and an adjustable drill press table and hole saws. Works mo bedder for me. As with most tools, its a matter of knowing how to use it.

Thats kind of what I figured. Spool looks similar to what KJ Raycing and the other crosskart guys are doing.

Well there 27" stock tires off an rzr. Too big for the v twin. So I think ill keep the rims and mount some 25" tires on it

Also here's a pic of the briggs sitting in the buggy. Now I can work on packaging the drive train and making the motor sit as low as possible. This means the rear lower bars will need to be remade.20260107_193053.jpg

If 25 fit, look at Kenda Bear Claw K299 25x8x whatever size wheels you have and 25x10 for the rear. Those are usually the stock size and default tire for utility quads.
