so yesterday was my little brothers birthday, we had something to do later in the night so we figured wed go to dinner tonight. We came back, my mom took a shower, we went out to the car to go to the store, we find F U written on her hood, and 2 of her tires slashed. keep in mind this is her new car shes had about 2 months and means alot to her, so she burst into tears, we called and a cop , made a report and i took of the paint with some gasoline. Now the neighbor just gets home ( not the one i ride karts with ) and finds that his doors are unlocked, and his TV missing, needless to say he made a report to. Now were waiting on tripple A to see if they can help to repair the tires, but needless to say, this made my family upset, and worse, i think i know who it was :mad2:

Slashed tires... Repair? Sounds dodgy. I understand money, but that really sounds like a replacement thing.

If you are friendly enough with your neighbour to do kart stuff with, what's his kid's issue? Jealous/insecure? And how old is this little puke?

he says a can of fix a flat should do them up, because they were slashed only a little, nd well probablly just go with replacement. and my family isint rich, but they get me what i need, and out of this week i just got a new shirt, and some new skates and hes upset because of it. Hes also mad because i cant stay out all the time, or stay at the mall for more than two hours ( weird people.) hes also upset because as his brother told me, hes jeleous because his dad spends more time with me than him

Nice kid. No wonder nobody wants to spend time with him.

Seriously- any idea WHY his dad spends more time with you? Anybody willing to include him a little more? I can understand why he might be feeling hurt. Then again, that's no reason to vandalize your neighbour's property. Kids today...

Exactley, and because his son would rather play video games and fight where I'd rather learn and take time to help, and because they dont get along, and we've tried but he dosent want to, and only wants money. I mean its upsetting and it makes me rather upset. And MOST kids thesse days,

sounds pretty straightforward. if hes that immature then it probably wont be hard to find what he did with the TV... go to the local pawn shops with a pic of the model of TV

That reminds me of something that happened to me when I lived in the city. The neighbor kid used to chase my boys up and down the driveway when they rode their bikes, asking if he could ride. His worthless parents hadn't bothered to get him a bike. My son would let him ride, but then it was very difficult to get the kid off the bike again.

I got my son a new bike (an upgrade from the thrift store for about 8 bucks), and I thought it would be nice to give the old bike to the neighbor kid. He accepted it, but he let me know that he was really disgusted that his bike wasn't as good as my son's new one. The next day I had a brick through my windshield.

sounds like the neighbors dont beat their kids enough. i would have just taken care of it for them if they dont feel the need.

i really dont have a problem spanking someone elses kid. Ive had to disipline one of my friend's kids because even tho she had three little boys, she had no idea how to keep them in line. they walked all over her. she asked me to babysit once and handed the middle child (the worst one) a whole bag of mini oreos and said "see ya!"

those kids were so bad i had to eat the whole bag myself. in front of them. :)

Unreal. How's that for gratitude? Sounds very much like one of my nephews with my two kids' bikes. Couldn't believe the behaviour I was seeing. I didn't get the brick thru the windshield but I'll bet you the thought crossed his little mind...

I've never hit my kids. The key is to treat them like people, rather than like little stupid animals, and make sure that their actions have consequences. This should be a natural consequence, rather than some random, unconnected one. You break something, you fix it or buy a new one. If you ever have kids, think about that. The best thing you can do for them is to point out the consequences of their actions. This will help them as adults. If you hit them, what they learn is that they need to watch out for your hand whenever they do anything. That doesn't help them understand their own responsibility in their lives.

That's a complex issue for a go kart forum. I don't want to argue with anybody, but I've thought a lot about this topic over the years, and I've compiled a lot of data by observing people.

The problem with my old neighbors is that they never talked to their kids. They either sent them outside to play all day while the parents were busy smoking pot, or they yelled at them and threatened violence. These kids were like wild animals. One time the 4 year old got hit by a car, and the parents didn't even know where he was.

here's a morning update, another one of the tires is slashed, and the neighbor i ride karts with says sockets and stuff have disappeared from his garage. As for the spanking issue, i was spanked when i was a child, i stepped out of line and my butt was about to be sore. That doesn't make her a bad person it just shows she cares about me and that i was disciplined. My mom knows what im doing, where im at and who im with at all times, and its better that way. I mean my family has our fights and bouts, but only when it gets way to out of line does the discipline begin, we have are little play moments where my mom/grandma tell me there going to beat me up and mail me to Africa and such, but were all just joking around. As for kaymo, my grandmas more of the lady that throws people out of there house, shes old fashioned, and that's a good thing.

Those kind of people are becoming rare... a shame... stinking advancements...

Anyways, seems pretty extreme for that kid to do all that... then again, the world seems to be going to pot!
