off road kart

im building an off road go kart mostly for trails. if i get a predator 212cc engine will i be able to put a 40 series torque converter on and it work properly because i want to eventually upgrade that engine but still be able to use the same torque converter before and after upgrades.

You can use a 40 series on a 212cc. Just remember that the 212 output shaft is not 1" diameter, and the 40 series needs a 1" shaft to fit on (if I remember correctly). You can get a sleeve to bump up the diameter to 1" though

i was already planning on rejeting the carb. do you know what adapter will be needed?

You will only need to rejet your carb if your engine NEEDS it. Do NOT rejet just for the sake of rejetting. Once you have done your mods, do a spark plug test, check it and see if your carb needs to be rejetted

ok thats a good idea i just figured it would because of the high flow air filter but I'm usually wrong haha
