im building my yerf dog to performe really well off road. I bought a harbor frieght blue clone and put a tav2 torque-a-verter with it. its nice but i want to put a performance air intake on the motor but the only ones that i can find are the k&n racing style intakes. Are these going to be suitable off road in mud dirt and sand? and if not does anyone have an idea or seen a performance off road intake for a honda clone? thanks guys:sifone:

The K&N will do very well. Possibly the best filter you can buy. You might want to get a pre-filter (a little cover for the filter) to keep the mud out though if you're going to do some crazy stuff. Oh, and by the way, if you're looking for more power, look into a header such as a robertson torque tube. It's a really good upgrade for the price. Makes it sound sweet too!
